Meeting Your Needs During the COVID19 Pandemic

Dear Patients,

We are committed to our patients during this very stressful and unsettling time. We want you to know that we will be in the office to see you for urgent needs and will be offering telehealth visits to answer your questions and discuss your concerns. Many issues can be addressed by telehealth through a thorough review of your symptoms and discussion with the doctor. I can often ascertain what is going on during a video call and make a plan. I can prescribe any medications that I feel would be appropriate. Furthermore, I can determine whether or not an in-person visit is necessary.

Please stay home and stay safe. Call us with your concerns.

If you would like to book a telehealth visit, you may book online through the website or call the office as you would do at any other time. At the time of your appointment, go to https://doxy.me/drkarmin from your mobile phone or PC and it will take you to my HIPPA compliant telemedicine waiting room. I will start the call with you from there. If you have any questions, or have trouble connecting, please don't hesitate to call the office number at (305) 670-0010.

If you would prefer to use Facetime or WhatsApp video instead, just make a note in the comment box when you schedule your appointment, or let us know when you book by phone. Indicate which app you would like to use and the phone number. Please be advised that while both are currently approved for telemedicine use during the pandemic, doxy.me is more secure with regards to patient privacy.

Best,

Dr. Karmin and Staff
